Dear Delegates and Faculty Advisors,
It is my great pleasure to welcome you to RAMUNC II, the second annual Ranney Middle School Model United Nations Conference. My name is Jack Hibell, and I am honored to serve as the Secretary-General of this year’s conference.
RAMUNC II was created with the goal of bringing students together to experience the excitement of Model United Nations in an environment that is both challenging and welcoming. Throughout the conference, delegates will have the opportunity to step into the role of diplomats, tackle important international issues, collaborate with other students, and develop their skills in public speaking, negotiation, and diplomacy.
Our Secretariat has spent months preparing committees, developing topics, and working to create a conference that we hope will be both intellectually engaging and genuinely enjoyable. Whether you are attending your first Model UN conference or are already an experienced delegate, we want RAMUNC II to be an opportunity for you to challenge yourself, share your ideas, and discover new interests.
Beyond committee, RAMUNC II is also an opportunity to meet students from other schools, build new friendships, and become part of a larger community of students interested in international affairs. We hope that the experiences you have at RAMUNC II extend beyond the conference itself and leave you with a greater appreciation for diplomacy and the world around you.
I encourage you to explore our website and check back regularly for updates regarding registration, committees, delegate resources, and other conference information. Our Secretariat is excited to share everything we have been working on with you.
